(Emergence and Tech are dated and need to be fixed)
104 GMAIL SETUP
Each school day, students will need to log into their 104 Gmail accounts. The format for their Gmail account is firstinitiallastnamelast4digitsofID@104m.org and the password is the student ID/OSIS number.
VISITING THE SCHOOL
Parents are always welcome at MS104. You must have an ID to sign in at the security desk to gain admission to the school. In order to make the visit more productive, parents are required to make an appointment with the teacher or administrator with whom they would like to meet. Parents may call the Main Office, Parent Coordinator, or send a note with their child to make an appointment.
ATTENDANCE
All students who are absent are required to bring in a written note signed by their parent or guardian on their return to school. Parents should provide a doctor’s note for all medically excused absences. Parents who know that their child will be absent are asked to advise the school in advance. If a student is absent without notifying the school for two consecutive days, the homeroom teacher will call the home. Any student who is excessively absent within a school year will be reported to the Attendance Monitor. For attendance questions, please contact Bonnie Geller-Doyle: bdoyle3@schools.nyc.gov
LATENESS
Any student arriving late must enter through the Main Lobby on 20th St., sign in the Late Student Log and pick up a Late Pass. Those who are late will not be allowed to enter class without this pass.

BARUCH BLAST
In order to stay in touch, the MS104 PTA sends out an email newsletter called the Baruch Blast weekly during the school year. The Baruch Blast is not the only means of communication for the school but is the primary way to help families keep up-to-date with what is happening. To register, click HERE, fill in your personal information, and choose the e-mail list for your child's grade.

- Please note that we have incorporated the use of Yonder Pouches to contain cell phones throughout the school day. The result has been increased focus and student interaction.
MEDICAL/HEALTH
The School's Public Health Advisor is located in room 103, the medical room, which is open during school days from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. He/she may be reached at 212-674-4545, ext.160. If a student has a medical condition, it is advised that the parent or guardian notify the Public Health Advisor within the first week of school.
