MANHATTAN YOUTH AT MS 104

MS 104 Simon Baruch's Afterschool program is provided FREE of charge to our students!

Manhattan Youth is proud to offer a full menu of classes that allow students to discover their passion, master new skills, participate in innovative activities, and contribute to their school’s community at Simon Baruch Middle School. Thanks to SONYC funding from the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), all afterschool activities in this program at Baruch are FREE to participants!

Manhattan Youth (MY) at MS104's Afterschool Programming ranges from athletics, visual and performing arts, STEM, and other themes with a schedule that changes up three times a year to keep material engaging for students!

No Re-entry for Afterschool

Parents, please remember that if students are supposed to be in afterschool for the day, they cannot leave the building and return. If a student leaves the building, we will not be able to allow them into afterschool that day. Any questions or concerns, send an email to mjones@manhattanyouth.org

Pick-up Procedures

Please note that if you are picking up a student who is allowed to self-dismiss, you must wait outside of the school building until they are dismissed from their classes and we will send them out to you.  Only parents who must sign-out their children will be allowed to come into the building. This will help us immensely in expediting the sign-out process and ensuring a safe dismissal for all.

Spectator Policy

Manhattan Youth has implemented NEW policies for all spectators that attend basketball games:

  • All spectators must now SIGN-IN before they enter the gym

  • All MS104 students must be enrolled in afterschool in order to attend games (they do not need to be enrolled in classes but we do need them to fill out the registration form, located in the afterschool office).

  • Any spectator who does not attend MS104 and is under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
